NEW! Shiseido WASO Collection Haul and First Take

Shiseido recently launched a new skincare collection "inspired by Japanese aesthetics" called WASO. According to the press release, the line was designed with millennials in mind and has been crafted with "authenticity at its core" to appeal to the new generation. The collection ranges from cleansers, moisturizers and even a BB-like cream.

If it wasn't already obvious, I'm a part of the millennial generation and therefore, it made sense that before the product had officially launched, I was instantly attracted to the line. The packaging was minimalistic, the scent was fresh, and most importantly, ingredients included natural products like carrots, honey, mushrooms, tofu and loquat leaves. I was sold and was lucky enough to receive most of these items a few weeks ago to try out.

Items in my package included:
  • Quick Matte Oil-Free Moisturizer
  • Quick Gentle Cleanser
  • Fresh Jelly Lotion
  • Color-Smart Oil Free SPF 30 Day Moisturizer
  • Clear Mega-Hydrating Cream
Only item I did not receive from the collection was the Soft and Cushy Polisher (an exfoliator) and Color-Smart Day Moisturizer (for normal skin).

For the past few days, I've been able to test out most of these products and will continue to do so for the next week in order to generate a clear and final review (so expect those to roll out soon!). However, I will say I definitely already have favorites from this line!

Purchase Shiseido's new WASO collection on their website or at Sephora.com!

Which product should I review first on my blog? Will you be picking up any of these items anytime soon? Sound off in the comments below!

xoxo, Naomi
